Supplies For Making Ozonated Glycerin

10 liter EWOT_edited.jpg

10 Liter Opti-Max Oxygen Concentrator
Ozonating your own glycerin is a high-reward activity, but it takes a lot of oxygen! If we use a Jumbo D Oxygen Tank as an example - 640 liters (which is normal size tank), at a 1/8 per liter flow rate, one would be going through 180 liters of oxygen per day. The tank would be empty in 3 1/2 days.
A much more convenient oxygen source is an oxygen concentrator that makes its own oxygen.
Our 10 Liter Oxygen Concentrators have a built-in oxygen sensor that guarantees you are getting between 90 and 95% pure oxygen, which is the highest in the industry. Built to last - Our Oxygen Concentrators are real "workhorses," not even scheduled for maintenance for 30,000 hours. That's a lot of glycerin made before any maintenance is required.

Make Ozonate Glycerin Faster With Our Super Columns
Our 500ml & 1000ml Super Columns will reduce your production time by 20 to 25% due to the columns long, thin design, which helps ozone permeate the glycerin much faster than a regular flask or beaker. Simply remove the ozone destruct (the glass piece with the red top) and pour in your glycerin. This ensures less breakage, as you do not need to constantly keep removing the top with the glass stem. When ready, release the ozonated glycerin with the handy tap at the bottom.

We also carry a 250ml Glass Bubbler if you are looking to ozonate smaller amounts.

For the budget conscious, you can also use our 500ml & 1000ml Glass Flasks.

When Ozonating Glycerin, Remember -

Trap First to Guard Against Backflow
When using your ozone generator to ozonate any liquid, it's a must to have a trap as your first line of defense against a backflow. When you turn off your oxygen source it can create a backflow in your system. If the receptacle with the glycerin is still connected through tubing to your ozone generator, you run the risk of a vacuum effect and having the ozonated glycerin travel through your tubing and reaching your ozone generator. When a trap is attached first to your ozone generator, it will collect the liquid rather than your ozone generator.

Silicone Tubing & Connectors

Silicone Tubing is used outside of all ozone generator systems because it is ozone resistant. Ozone reacts with most substances, and although silicone is resistant to ozone, it will eventually break down. When ozonating glycerin for days, silicone will not last as long as you may be used to in the past just doing other non-lengthy applications of ozone.  Make sure to have extra tubing and connectors onhand.
